Life at Work

Life at work can be a battle field and you need to be equipped not just with skills, but also a spinal cord made of steel. There's a lot of stress out there and in these times of recession, you have to be twice as good to keep your head afloat.

Just a random thought.

Meeting Abhishek Bacchan!!!!!!

Well today is my luckiest day...as I get the chance to meet Abhishek Bacchan...at PVR Saket.
you know earlier I was not interested in watching the movie - Dilli 6...but dont know why I booked tickets for it and guess what at the time of screening, suddenly the screen went black. I saw people coming in the hall. At first I thought it was some kind of mock drill for the security guards, But after seeing everybody just relaxed, I thought must be someone coming. And then the lady announced please everybody just settle down "Abhishek Bacchan is coming for you". All the people were just thrilled and clapped, and then he emerged from the entrance, looking cool as usual. They have bought chair for him to sit where the screen is. And we guys were still amazed and clapping and cheering for him. Then he asked us how the film is. And he talked to us. There was a b'day of a child sitting in the hall. Her mother shouted that today is the b'day of her daughter. Abhishek Bacchan called that child on stage and started singing Happy birthday song. We all sang with him. Then he talked about his film. One guy from he audience asked where is his partner-he meant sonam-Abhishek was confused whether he is asking for Aishwarya or Sonam. He showed his finger with ring. We asked him to dance on the song Masakali-but he refused as he has to go to Gurgaon for the next screening. Well that was one of the happiest moment of my life. I enjoyed the movie as well.

There are two kinds of people in the world!!

I just read this funny quote "There are two kinds of people in the world, those who believe there are two kinds of people in the world and those who don't." By Robert Benchley.

This guy was an American humorist best known for his work as columnist in newspaper and film actor. But do you see the seriousness in this line.

There are people in this world who believes in dividing each other on the basis of caste, creed, religion.

Just think about it!!!

my life's day

Well I am writing today to express my frustration that I am going through from this hectic life....no time for recreation, traveling, etc. I sometimes feels that what kind of life I am living...giving no time to anybody even my family...

My day starts very early in the morning...6 AM to be exact...then i get ready to welcome new day with excitement...but till the time i get ready, i feel that this is another usual day which will pass and my life's one day will be deducted today...

After getting ready I go to my pick up point from where i board my cab...i see people around...daily faces...saying good morning, hello, hi....then i board a cab for office around 8 and see people going to offices with their shabby/dull looks...no one seems to be interested in looking at the beautiful sunrise...just honking from their cars, bikes racing to reach office....On my way I think about the tasks that I have to perform in office....thinking about my future, career...I think almost everything in that 45 minutes journey....

Then I reach office at around 8:45....check my mails...and start off with the work...the time passes by...the most difficult 9 hours of daily life.....solving issues regarding work...well life is tough out there....

The happiest moment of day comes when I see clock at 5:30....ahh...the day ends...and now I see cheerful faces around me....tough times never last.....getting out of building is very exciting....watching beautiful faces....u know bird watching...and going back home....I see my cab mates faces....all they want is seat to sleep.....they cant miss single second to sleep in the cab....The traffic is slow...so they get chance to sleep as much as they can....its a bit bumpy ride but I enjoy every minute of it....

Now finally comes the home....mummy bhook lagi hai....the first sentence that comes out from my mouth after reaching home....I change clothes and in between turning on my laptop....I never miss a second to turn on my laptop....while i change i put password and again ready to sit in front of the computer.....downloading stuff...checking mails, orkutting, listening songs....this is what i dont like about my life....coming home and again sitting with laptop....I know its bad thing but i am addicted now...cant help....coming online is like doping...cant resist....and then having dinner coming online again and finally go to sleep......tomorrow there will be a another day like this....life goes on...

Negative Thinking

"If someone put poison in your water...would you drink it?"
The obvious answer is "No"!
Chemical poisons that we can see, taste, touch and smell can be fatal...Fortunately we are intelligent enough to know that we do not ingest poisonous substances....
...but what about our mind?
Repeatedly, people are poisoning their minds with negativity, and though we cannot see this negativity, it is just as fatal....Negativity is the poison that kills dreams...And we need to stop it before it contaminates our lives...Negativity starts with negative thoughts...
Negative thinking cripples a person's life to one degree or another. It robs people of the opportunity to live up to their full potential of achieving their greatest desires and aims...
It condemns many to the rat race of merely survival-drudgery day after day-because they dont think they can achieve anything more. It brings depression and other mental disorders, and that in turn leads to physical disorders...
How do we eliminate this poison?
Monitor the thoughts that you allow into your mind...every thought!!
If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts...think again!!
Strive to think positive, empowering and supportive thoughts...
Just as you monitor your thoughts, monitor the words that you speak....
Listen carefully to every word that is coming from your mouth...
Create a vocabulary of a successful, positive, inspiring individual. Be passionate in your speech and express your enthusiasm with your words...The energy of the words that you speak is powerful force that is creative...
There is so much to be positive about! You are valuable and that should raise your self-esteem and self-value...

No matter what is the situation, it will change....

Today something inspired me to write randomly...
Things are moving fast around me...i just want to keep pace with it....many people write about themselves, about their friends, etc....I want to write about my friend who just keep on exploring something new every now and then and this inspired me to write... He has just created his website and wrote about me....I want to thank him for this...I just read about recession on his blog...and felt how everybody affected from it...

I want this recession to stop now...everybody wants to get out of this....almost everybody affected by this present situation...and I want everybody to please move on and do something to stop this...i dont want to hear this word again in my life....even in my next life....im just fed up with this current scenario...people losing jobs...nowhere to go...sense of fear everywhere...

I have so many plans so many dreams to fullfill....but everything is going apart....i feel nothing is going right at the moment....i want to change this....dont want to think negative....Negativity is the poison that kills dreams...!!! And we need to stop it before it contaminates our lives..

I think these kind of situations make us believe in God....this is the only good thing coming out of this....i always remember God whether i m in a good situation or bad...i never forget to thank God during good times....and I believe that God is always with me.....and I think along with the hard work God will take me and everybody out of this recession very soon....and it will change.
